District Game Tracker Support

District Game Tracker keeps a private journal of games, scores, venues, photos, statistics, and cities visited.

Contact

For help, email gametracker@geneticlyperfct.com. Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, and a description of what happened. Do not attach a backup or personal photos unless they are necessary for your support request.

iCloud synchronization

Confirm that you are signed in to iCloud, iCloud Drive is enabled, and District Game Tracker is allowed to use iCloud. Synchronization may take a short time after a new installation or after reconnecting to the internet.

Sharing a collection

Open Settings in the app, select the collection, and use Sharing to invite another iCloud user. The owner controls whether each participant can view or edit. Both people should be signed in to iCloud and use a current app version.

Backups and restoration

Open Settings and choose Create Backup. You can create a smaller data-only backup or include photos. Save the resulting file somewhere you control. To restore, choose Restore from File and select a District Game Tracker backup.

Camera and photo access

Camera access is used only when you choose Take Photo. Apple's system photo picker gives the app only the photos you select; the app does not request access to browse your entire library. Saving a game photo to Photos requests add-only permission. You can review camera and photo-saving permissions in the Settings app under Privacy & Security.

Privacy and data deletion

Read the District Game Tracker Privacy Policy, also linked from Settings in the app. Deleted games and their attached photos remain in Recently Deleted for 30 days on the device that deleted them. To remove a recovery copy sooner, open Recently Deleted on the Games screen and use Delete Permanently or Clear All. These actions require edit access to the original collection. Recovery copies are not synced or included in device backups or exported game backups. Expired copies cannot be restored and are removed when the app next checks them.

You can remove an individual photo in the editor without creating a recovery copy, and manage the app's iCloud data through Apple's iCloud settings. Deleting a game does not delete older backup files or copies saved to Photos. Delete exported backup files separately wherever you saved or shared them. Removing the app deletes its local data; iCloud content and other people's copies must be managed separately. Email support if you need help locating those copies.
